The Hinton Disc Golf Association is a group of dedicated locals who want to bring the sport of Disc Golf to the Hinton community for all ages to enjoy.
The Hinton Disc Golf Course is located off Robb Road across from the HMBA Bike Park, and has easy access immediately off of the Town trail to Thompson Lake.
Parking is across from Bike Park parking lot on Robb Rd.

Discs can be purchased at King Drug or Maximum Outfitters. Loaners can be found a the Tourism Information centre with a small, refundable deposit
Course - Safety Considerations
Our course is built in the forest in an area where Fire Smart initiatives have thinned out the forest floor. Here are some things to remember:
Wear sturdy hiking boots / shoes to reduce the risk of rolling an ankle on uneven terrain.
Watch your step at all times, but especially when it is wet. Logs can be very slippery when wet.
Bring bug spray to protect against the mosquitoes.
Keep a safe distance when throwing near other people or players. Your disc can curve a lot more than you think sometimes!
Play with a group of people to reduce the risk of an animal encounter.
Bring bear spray and noisemakers in the case of a bear or cougar encounter.
Watch out for low branches to protect your eyes and not get scratched.
Watch out for dead trees that have fallen but got hung up on other trees.
